Beatrice Baudelaire is the mother of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire, and is the wife to Bertand Baudelaire. The author (Lemony Snicket.) of 'A Series of Unfortunate Events,' (the book series this character is starring in.) based this character of his from his deceased wife, Beatrice Snicket.

This book Beatrice is in, is about the painful lives of three children- Violet Baudelaire, Klaus Baudelaire, and Sunny Baudelaire. After their parent are lost in a fire, Mr Poe, a banker who helps the children out to find good guardians, sends them all off to a creepy and dark guardian, Count Olaf, who treats them awfully. This is the first book of the series ('The Bad Beginning.') Snicket writes about.

In every book, they are sent off to new relatives who will take care of the children, but Count Olaf follows them, and finds a way to steal the children's enormous fortune they received from their parents. Mr Poe tries and tries so hard to help them, but when they get new guardians, and Olaf gets involved by dressing up in terrible costumes from his "acting career pals," Mr Poe never seems to believe them, as the guardians are very much believed that the dressed up phony is not the Count.
